I design beautiful interfaces and craft intuitive experiences
About
Hello! I’m André Manfrini Garcia, a 38-year-old UI/UX designer from Brazil, now based in Costa Mesa, California. I’ve been creating websites since my early 20s, turning my artistic passions into a professional craft.
My career began in 2008, blending design with frontend development—a combination that gave me a deep understanding of how to create interfaces that are not only beautiful and intuitive but also easy to build and maintain. Over the years, my focus has evolved, and I now specialize in UI/UX design, with an emphasis on interface design for web applications. My expertise lies in crafting seamless, user-friendly digital experiences that balance aesthetics and functionality.
Beyond design, I’m a musician and an avid analog photography enthusiast. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, diving or just exploring new places.

It’s not ordered chronologically, read Experience below for more on that.
2022/2025 - Vantage Compute
Vantage Compute is a platform developed by Omnivector that enables individuals and organizations to run simulations efficiently using hybrid compute. I joined Omnivector when Vantage was still just an idea, serving as the Lead UI/UX Designer. My role extended beyond establishing a design methodology for the company—I was responsible for building Vantage from the ground up. This included everything from branding to user research, mapping workflows, defining personas, wireframing, and creating and maintaining the design system. Additionally, I translated user needs into well-structured designs, ensuring an intuitive experience by continuously iterating through feedback rounds with the entire team.
2015/2019 - Uniregistry
Uniregistry was a retail domain name registrar and web services provider based in the Cayman Islands. In February 2020, it was acquired by GoDaddy.
As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for executing all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to engineering, while also handling frontend development. Some of the initiatives designed by me were: Postboard, designing the interface for single-page website templates and implementing the frontend markup. Uniregistry Market, a domain name buying and selling platform, I led the interface design and frontend development. Additionally, I contributed to Uniregistry’s Domain Transfers System (Resolution Center), improving the user experience for trouble shooting issues with multiple domain transfers.
2017 - Caffenol.com.br
Caffenol.com.br is a practical, step-by-step visual and interactive guide for developing analog film at home using a coffee based film developer called Caffenol. Designed for beginners, it provides key information and clear explanations to help users achieve great results in home film development.
This project was my graduation thesis for my Design Bachelor’s at UNESP, Brazil. It incorporates advanced JavaScript animations that are synchronized with user scroll interactions, creating an engaging and immersive experience. All images and textures used in the design were sourced from my own film photography, shot in Brazilian colonial coffee farms, adding authenticity and a deep connection to the subject matter.
2018 - Brandsight
Brandsight was a corporate-focused sub-product of Uniregistry, designed to help businesses efficiently manage their domain portfolios. As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for crafting an intuitive and scalable interface tailored to corporate users. I designed the main web application and corporate website, ensuring a seamless experience for domain registration, tracking, and management. My work on Brandsight balanced functionality with a polished user experience, aligning with the needs of enterprise clients handling large-scale domain operations.
